The UWA Boat Shed Function Room

Tucked away on Matilda Bay, the picturesque surrounds of the UWA Boat Club have helped create a stunning and exclusive function venue. The Boat Club was built in 1929 and was renovated in 2002. This provides a feel of modern elegance and historic charm.

This beautiful venue has views of the Swan River, which range from Kings Park and Perth around to the Royal Perth Yacht club. The Function Room has polished wooden floorboards, numerous windows and a large bay window that opens out onto a balcony. This allows function guests to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the location.

The Boat Club has already played host to numerous

  Seminars

  Corporate Dinners

  Product Launches

The function room has the capacity to seat 72 guests and hold 100 guests for a cocktail function. There are twelve round tables (which seat six people each) and 72 chairs available and these are included with the room. Table linen isn’t provided. There is a smaller boardroom, which is available for caterers to serve food from. The bar is operated by the UWA Sport and Recreation Association. The staff required to set up the room, stock and staff the bar are charged to the client at an hourly rate and are not included as part of the beverage packages.
